Since 1998 I have been engaged in research activities in China, particularly involving sales management and key account management.  I have primarily been involved with the Shanghai-based China Europe International Business School, where I have also taught open programs. Financial Times ranks CEIBS Executive Education Program as one of the world’s top 50 in both open and custom programs and CEIBS Executive Education Program is Asia’s highest rated international, non-degree executive education program.

I have made numerous trips to China and my learning and growth here is continuous. I am always amazed by the speed of change and the energy and excitement of so many people striving for a better future.

My growing knowledge of business issues in China has led to several research projects and I have presented on Chinese topics at global conferences and published China-relevant papers in leading journals (see publications).  I continue to grow my perspective as to ways that companies can leverage opportunities for improvement to grow a stronger presence in China. My familiarity with China also makes me more effective when teaching at my university.
