University Teaching
I have taught a wide range of classes including sales management, marketing management, marketing strategy, and marketing research. My particular expertise is in sales management and marketing strategy, subjects I have taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels, although my recent work has grown my interest in teaching Doing Business in China and Marketing for Entrepreneurs. My undergraduate class sizes are typically 30 – 60 students, however, for several years I’ve tought an Intro to Marketing course with sections of 240 students while overseeing five Teaching Assistants.
In 2002, I received the MKT Professor of the Year Award, an award given annually to the professor chosen by the marketing student’s association. In 2005, I received the Dean’s Academic Staff Teaching Excellence Award. In fall 2006, I received Favorite Instructor Award.
